Built-In Functionality Enables Engineers to Easily Incorporate Predictive Maintenance into Products and Processes
Digitread Connect is partnering with Sintef Ocean to develop the new predictive maintenance solution
Digitread Connect, a leading provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions, has announced that it has received funding to bring a new approach to predictive maintenance to the market.
According to CEO Christoffer Lange, the company is aiming to make predictive maintenance more accessible and straightforward for the industry, and will soon be releasing built-in functionality for setting up predictive maintenance on its IoT platform. This will allow engineers and personnel with domain knowledge to easily incorporate this powerful tool into their products and processes, without the need for data scientists.
The company is partnering with Sintef Ocean to develop the new predictive maintenance solution, which will make use of cutting-edge technologies such as time series forecasting, virtual sensors, and functional mockups. By combining and leveraging these technologies, Digitread Connect aims to disrupt the status quo and bring new efficiencies to the industry.
The project is being funded through Regionale forskningsfond Viken, with a grant of 1.2 million NOK. Product Manager Lars Hvidsten stated that the company is excited to bring this innovative approach to predictive maintenance to the market, and is confident that it will be a game-changer for the industry.
