Digitread Connect is collaborating with Sintef to develop a new predictive maintenance solution and has received funding to support this new approach.
According to business developer Kevin van der Pol, the company aims to make predictive maintenance more accessible and user-friendly for the industry. As a result, Digitread Connect will soon introduce this functionality as an embedded feature in its industrial data platform, KYB. This will allow engineers and professionals to easily incorporate this powerful tool into their products and processes without requiring data specialists.
The company is working with Sintef to develop the new solution, which will leverage cutting-edge technologies such as time-series forecasting, virtual sensors, and functional models. By combining and harnessing these technologies, Digitread Connect seeks to challenge the status quo and bring new efficiencies to the industry.
The project is funded by the Regional Research Fund Viken with a grant of 1.2 million NOK. Kevin van der Pol states that the company looks forward to bringing this innovative approach to predictive maintenance to the market and is confident that it will be a groundbreaking solution for the industry.
